**Position Summary**

Kiewit is hiring experienced TIG & RMD/FCAW B-Pressure Hand Welder Foremans for the Woodfibre project located in Squamish, BC.

**Job Duties**

Duties include:

+ Completing carbon steel & stainless steel (304L) closure welds for module interconnects
+ Working in tight spaces/at heights
+ Completing carbon steel and stainless steel (304L) welds for new construction piping systems

**Requirements**

+ Valid Journeyperson Red Seal Welding ticket or an equivalent certification with the ability and willingness to apply for a recognized credential through a provincial trades qualifier program.
+ Valid BC Class A Pressure Welder certification
+ If you hold an equivalent certification/experience, you must be willing and able to obtain BC registration
+ 5+ years’ experience with TIG (GTAW) welding stainless steel and carbon
+ 5+ years’ experience with stick (SMAW) hand welding
+ RMD experience is an asset
+ Must pass weld tests per company standards – Stainless TIG, Carbon TIG, Carbon Stick, RMD/FCAW
+ Must have experience performing welding work in outdoor environments, varying weather conditions, and restricted spaces

**Shift Information**

14 x 7 days, 10-hour shifts; overtime as per collective agreement

+ Additional site premiums available upon:
+ Successful completion of 30 DI using RMD
+ Completion of 50 DI with no repair
+ Union Benefits – 6% vacation pay, 4.4% statutory holiday pay, health and welfare benefits (disability insurance, dental insurance, extended medical coverage, RSP contributions, matching pension contributions
+ Upon an offer, all candidates must be able to pass a SureHire Drug, Alcohol, & 50lb Fitness-to-work test
