Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join a quick-paced, high-impact PMO within a leading retail-lending organization based in Toronto.
This is a contract-to-hire opportunity focused on supporting enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives, specifically centered around the rebuild of a customer-facing digital application and client portal.
The team is undergoing rapid transformation and requires a highly proactive, action-oriented Project Manager who can operate with urgency, adapt quickly to evolving priorities, and confidently interface with senior leadership.
The Project Manager will sit within the PMO and partner closely with both technology and business stakeholders, including commercial and IT leadership, to drive alignment and delivery across cross-functional teams.
This individual will play a critical role in coordinating efforts between internal teams and a third-party vendor responsible for redesigning the front-end of the organization’s digital platform.
The ideal candidate brings a strong blend of business and technical acumen, with experience working in highly regulated environments such as financial services.
They must be comfortable working within Agile pod structures, driving project momentum, and translating complex technical progress into clear updates for stakeholders across the organization, including executive leadership.

Skills and Requirements
- 5 + yrs of experience in end-to-end project management , including requirements gathering, planning, execution, and delivery
- Proven experience managing complex, enterprise-wide projects within financial services or other highly regulated environments
- Strong experience working cross-functionally with both technology teams and business stakeholders
- Ability to manage and coordinate across internal teams and external vendors
- Experience supporting digital transformation initiatives, particularly customer-facing applications or portals
Strong understanding of IT development lifecycles and Agile delivery environments
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical updates into clear, concise messaging for business and executive stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced, high-change environments with shifting priorities
Strong problem-solving and issue triaging capabilities, especially in ambiguous situations
Proven ability to proactively drive projects forward with minimal oversight - PMP certification or equivalent (PMI affiliation preferred)
- Experience working within fintech or startup environments in addition to traditional banking
- Exposure to digital application modernization or front-end transformation initiatives - HUGEEE
- Experience working with vendor-led delivery models
- Background supporting operational readiness or enterprise transformation teams - would be HUGE asset
