Position Overview
The Dilawri Group of Companies is seeking a Body Shop Manager to lead our Triple Seven Chrysler Collision Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan. In addition to the roles and responsibilities below, our focus is a leader who meets and exceeds our core values, while providing an exceptional customer experience
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing Appraiser team, Workshop Foreman, Admin team, Parts and Detail teams – including performance reviews, staffing calendar, adherence to job descriptions and standard operating procedures, payroll and vacations.
- Reviews daily production schedule with Admin, Appraiser and Workshop teams as needed. Ensures production meetings are accurate and efficient.
- Reviews Department financials, performs reviews and updates to daily and weekly reporting,
attends weekly financial performance meetings. Able to effectively utilize and understand estimating systems, Collision center software, Accounting schedules and related department systems.
- Ensure Customer Satisfaction concerns are resolved, involvement as required. Monitor CSI performance reporting.
- Supervises the Parts Coordinator’s proper ordering of parts and materials, returns and any other Parts related matters.
- Ensures all safety policy and procedures in accordance with OH&S;, WHMIS and company are strictly adhered to. Health and Safety meetings are held quarterly. Knows, understands and applies municipal, provincial and federal legislation as it pertains to the dealership.
Qualifications Required
- Minimum 3 years of automotive body shop experience.
- Experience in a dealership body shop parts role is considered a strong asset. Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and procedures.
- Extensive knowledge of body shop parts, ordering procedures, and parts identification.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience is considered a strong asset.
- Proven ability to work effectively with technicians, customers and vendors
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Robust communication and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and manage multiple priorities.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
