When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact. It takes all of us to take on cancer. Volunteer with us at one of our signature events in your community on event day. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability. You can also assist us when we need event support on an on-call basis in your own community.

Description

The Gala des Grands Chefs will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Espace Paddock at 200 Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Registration volunteers will provide a warm and welcoming experience as guests arrive at the event. You'll set the tone for a memorable evening by offering friendly greetings and verifying guest registration.

Duties will include:

Warmly welcome guests.
- Confirm guests are registered using a provided tablet.
- Guide guests to the cocktail area.
- Work closely with event staff to address any questions or concerns guests may have.




- Assist the event team with last-minute adjustments as required.

Why we need you

A meaningful volunteer experience at our iconic Gala des Grands Chefs.

A meal will be provided to volunteers at the beginning of the shift.

What we're looking for

- Friendly, enthusiastic, and welcoming demeanour.
- Solid verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand and move around for extended periods.
- Positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent guest service.
- Experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus.
