Customer Service Associate / Cashier

We at convenience store at Mississauga lakeshore road east, looking for full time and part time job as a cashier and customer service.

Prefer who has experience working at convenience stores and gas station and has knowledge about sale of tobacco products and how to operate the lottery machine as well as Vape product .

NOTE : Only Gas station or Convenience experience can apply. Strictly Don't apply with any restaurant or warehouse experience .

Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and qualified manner
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Scan and bag items efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
- Promote store loyalty programs and upsell additional products or services
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking shelves and monitoring product availability

Skills:
- Excellent phone etiquette to handle customer inquiries over the phone
- Strong technical sales skills to assist customers with product selection and provide recommendations




- Proven sales experience to meet or exceed sales targets
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient checkout process
- Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) systems for accurate transaction processing
- Upselling abilities to maximize sales opportunities
- Previous experience in retail sales preferred
- Multilingual skills are a plus, but not required
- Exceptional customer service skills to create a positive shopping experience for customers
- Cash handling experience with accuracy and attention to detail
