We are looking for a motivated, AMVIC certified journeyman technician to join our team. We inspect, diagnose, repair and perform routine maintenance on all makes and models. We are a rapid paced work environment that values hard work and attention to detail.

Candidates are responsible for performing inspections in a timely manner with a strong level of accuracy. be able to diagnose and repair these vehicles with little comebacks. Candidates will also be responsible to perform routine maintenance and possess strong communication skills to talk to retail customers when required. Responsibilities

* AMVIC MFA

* Tire mount + balance and repairs

* A/C Diagnostics and Recharges

* Brake jobs

* Fluid services

* Diagnostics of MILs

* Engine diagnostics

* Electrical Diagnostics

* Routine Maintenance (service intervals)

* Repair or replace broken or dysfunctional parts and fix issues (e.g. leaks)

* Have little-to-no comebacks.

* Have a proven track record of completing repairs while breaking a minimal amount of unrelated parts.

* Keep notes on work and issues

* Maintain equipment and tools in valuable condition

* Take pride in their workspace by keeping the shop clean and organized

* Be punctual,



have excellent written and verbal skills with strong punctuation and grammar

* Be technically savvy and have a good understanding of computers and general web based software

Requirements

* Proven experience as a successful and well respected European auto mechanic

* Proven experience as a successful and well respected import/domestic auto mechanic

* Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles

* Ability to logically walk through problems and find concrete/plausible solutions even if there's no prior knowledge

* Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods

* Ability to handle various tools and diagnostic machines

* Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc

* Ability to lift and manage heavy parts

* Valid journeyman certification

* Valid drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $36.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
