Job Description

We are seeking a full-time In-Person Homeschool Teacher/Tutor to provide individualized academic instruction to a homeschooled student in Oakville, Ontario.

The successful candidate will work closely with the student to deliver engaging, personalized instruction while adapting teaching approaches to their individual learning needs. Experience supporting neurodivergent learners is essential for this role.

Required Qualifications

- Current or retired certified teacher preferred
- Previous experience teaching or tutoring students in a classroom,



homeschool, or one-on-one setting
- Demonstrated experience working with neurodivergent students
- Strong understanding of differentiated and individualized instruction
- Patient, compassionate, dependable, and student-focused
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a structured learning environment
- Passion for innovative and student-centred teaching
- Strong commitment to supporting students’ academic, social, and emotional development
- Ability to commit to a consistent Monday–Friday schedule
- Ability to commute reliably to the Oakville, Ontario location
- Willingness to complete a Police Information Check, including Vulnerable Sector Check, as required

Schedule & Compensation

- Location: Oakville, Ontario
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 10:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Start Date: September 8, 2026
- Compensation: $130 per day
