Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing physiotherapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed physiotherapist.
Duties:
- Support physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans for patients
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities
- Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions
- Set up equipment and prepare treatment areas for patient use
- Educate patients on exercises and home care routines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area
Experience:
- Prior experience in a hospital or acute care setting is preferred
- Familiarity with patient care procedures and medical terminology is advantageous
