OverviewSure Crop Feeds Inc, is a local livestock feed manufacturer located in Grindrod, BC that has proudly served the agricultural industry since 1957.

We are currently recruiting for 1 — Class 1 Driver — Feed Truck position(s). We are looking for candidates that are interested in working in an agriculture environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute and grow as a part of the team. Very reliable year-round work that allows you to be able to be at home each day.

Essential Functions:

- Deliver various feeds from the mill to multiple farm locations as dispatched.
- Develop and maintain good client relationships.
- Develop and maintain a good working relationship with other employees.
- Learn and understand various different feed types (pellets, mash, textured etc.).
- Fill out all necessary paperwork in a neat and tidy manner.
- Perform daily pre/post trip inspections.
- Maintain a clean truck inside and out.
- Basic greasing as needed.
- Work with operations supervisors in scheduling truck and trailer for routine maintenance.
- Cross train on all different feed tucks (vacuum) and B-trains.




- Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Class 1 License with clean driver's abstract is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude and professional presentation.
- Adhere with company procedures, rules and regulations.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (putting on tire chains etc.)

Compensation:

- $35.45/hr
