Position: Underground Logistics Coordinator (Fly-In-Fly-Out)

About the Client and Role

We require an experienced Underground Logistics Coordinator for our client, a mining operation located in Ontario. This is a contract prospect working a 2-weeks-on, 2-weeks-off rotation. While the position is initially contract-based, it has strong potential to transition into a permanent role. The Underground Logistics Coordinator will attend daily toolbox meetings and be responsible for all warehouse-related activities, including picking, issuing, receiving, staging materials, cycle counts, and inventory management. This role involves handling large and heavy mining components using equipment such as loaders, telehandlers, and forklifts in a predominantly outdoor warehouse environment with rough terrain, requiring the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. References, medical and criminal background checks are required.

Main Accountabilities

- Attend and actively participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety discussions
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming materials, supplies, and equipment
- Pick, issue, stage, and distribute parts and materials to support underground and surface mining operations
- Perform regular cycle counts, weekly inventory counts, and inventory reconciliations to maintain stock accuracy
- Load, unload, and safely transport large and heavy mining components within the warehouse and yard areas
- Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, IT loaders, telehandlers, and cat IT 906H loader in accordance with site procedures and safety standards
- Organize and maintain warehouse, laydown, and storage areas to ensure efficient material flow and housekeeping standards




- Coordinate the movement of materials between warehouse locations, work areas, and operational departments
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and basic maintenance checks on mobile equipment
- Work safely and effectively in outdoor environments and rough terrain under varying weather conditions
- Ensure all inventory transactions and material movements are accurately documented in the inventory management system
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or non-conforming materials and equipment
- Support shutdowns, maintenance activities, and special projects by ensuring required materials are available when needed
- Work independently during off-hours, effectively prioritizing tasks and resolving issues with minimal supervision
Maintain compliance with site safety policies, environmental requirements, and warehouse best practices

Main Qualifications

- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a warehouse, logistics, materials management, or supply chain role within a mining, construction, industrial, or heavy equipment environment
- Previous experience working in an outdoor warehouse setting and on rough terrain is required
- Experience handling large, heavy, and oversized mining or industrial components
- Proficiency operating mobile equipment such as forklifts, telehandlers, IT loaders,



and wheel loaders (Cat IT 906H experience considered a strong asset)
- Valid forklift certification or the ability to obtain site-specific certification
- Strong understanding of inventory control processes, including receiving, issuing, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation
- Experience using inventory management, warehouse management, or ERP systems
- Ability to accurately complete documentation, inventory records, and material tracking reports
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Physically capable of lifting, moving, and handling materials in a demanding industrial environment.
- Valid driver's license
Previous experience at a remote camp or fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) mining operation is considered an asset
