We are seeking Field Trainers to support a 3-month training initiative to launch and embed the ongoing performance of a private-label line of credit program at a major retail partner's store locations. In this role, you will travel to assigned stores to coach, train, and motivate store associates on how to effectively present, promote, and enroll customers in the credit program at point of sale. This is a hands-on, floor-based role — you'll be working directly alongside store staff, not sitting behind a desk.

Key Responsibilities

- Deliver in-person training to store associates on the credit program's features, benefits, application process, and compliance requirements
- Coach associates in real-time on the sales floor, modeling best practices for how to introduce the credit offer to customers during checkout and financing conversations
- Track and report on store-level enrollment/application metrics; identify underperforming locations and develop action plans to improve conversion
- Build relationships with store managers to ensure buy-in and consistent program visibility
- Ensure all training and sales practices comply with credit application regulations and company/retailer policies
- Travel to multiple store locations within an assigned territory on a regular schedule
- Provide feedback to the Training/Program Manager on program challenges, associate objections,



and customer response trends in the field

Qualifications

- 1-3+ years of experience in retail training, field sales, or a coaching/coaching-adjacent role
- Prior experience with financial services, credit card, or retail financing programs strongly preferred
- Comfortable presenting to groups and coaching one-on-one on a busy retail floor
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills — you'll be a guest in someone else's store, so tact and professionalism matter
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory (specify % travel, e.g., 75-100%)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings/weekends aligned to store hours
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal day-to-day supervision
- Basic proficiency with reporting tools (Excel, or whatever platform you use to track KPIs)

- Store associates consistently and confidently presenting the credit offer to customers
- Measurable lift in enrollment/application rates at trained locations
- Low associate turnover impact — current hires trained quickly and effectively
- Strong, positive relationships with store management at all assigned locations

Pay: $30.50 per hour
