Contract Position: Distribution Worker

CIVIX is seeking a hard-working and enthusiastic individual to be part of its distribution team for the Student Vote program around the upcoming BC local elections.

Dates:

September 1 - October 15, 2026.

Hours will vary from approximately 15-35 hours per week.

Job Description:

The distribution workers will be responsible for packing up packages of learning materials for schools, understanding complex production sheets, and preparing packages for shipping by stacking and wrapping them on pallets. Reading comprehension and close attention to detail are required to prepare a variety of packages types.

This job requires physical exertion and some moderately heavy lifting. Individuals must be reliable, hard-working, detail-oriented, and team players.

CIVIX is a national charity that works to strengthen democracy through civic education. CIVIX provides experiential learning opportunities to help youth practice their rights and responsibilities as citizens.





CIVIX’s flagship program is Student Vote — a parallel election for students under the voting age, coinciding with official election periods. The program combines classroom learning and an authentic voting experience.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Pay: $22.00 per hour

- Richmond, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
