This position plays an important role in supporting staff, coordinating Individual Service Plans (ISPs), assisting with scheduling and program administration, and helping ensure services are delivered safely, consistently, and in accordance with organizational and Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) requirements.

The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities, communicate effectively with staff and community partners, and remain calm and professional in a fast-paced human services environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist the Executive Director and Senior Coordinators with the daily operations of residential, tenant support, respite, and community-based support programs.
- Support Community Disability Support Workers and Rehabilitation Support Workers by providing operational guidance, resources, and administrative support.
- Assist in the development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs) to support person-centred goals and positive outcomes.
- Coordinate staffing schedules and service coverage to meet organizational and PDD contractual requirements.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, staff orientation, and ongoing in-house training.
- Support Senior Coordinators with employee performance documentation, coaching, and follow-up on employee development plans.
- Assist in coordinating residential, respite, and community support services to promote continuity and quality of service.
- Coordinate community placements,

- Participate in agency meetings, interdisciplinary case conferences, and service planning discussions.
- Monitor residential environments and identify maintenance, health and safety, or compliance concerns, escalating matters to leadership when appropriate.
- Participate in a rotating 24-hour on-call schedule to respond to urgent operational needs and critical incidents.
- Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned to support the Executive Director, Senior Coordinators, and operational needs of the organization.

Education & Experience

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Rehabilitation, Disability Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Child and Youth Care, Community Support, or another closely related human services discipline.
- An equivalent combination of relevant education, certifications, and progressively responsible experience in disability or human services may be considered in lieu of formal post-secondary education.
- Previous experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in residential or community-based settings is strongly preferred.
- Experience with Individual Service Plans (ISPs), staff coordination, scheduling, documentation, or program administration is considered an asset.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, team lead, or mentoring experience is considered an asset.

Skills & Qualifications

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time-management skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong leadership, coaching,

problem-solving, and team collaboration abilities.
- Knowledge of person-centred planning, community inclusion, and positive behaviour support.
- Working knowledge of Alberta PDD standards, documentation requirements, confidentiality, and professional boundaries.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and confidential documentation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, and the ability to learn electronic documentation systems.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the Executive Director, Senior Coordinators, and frontline staff.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment, prioritize urgent matters, and adapt effectively in a quick-paced and changing environment.

Required Licences & Certifications

Successful candidates must have:

- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certification.
- Clear Criminal Record Check, including Vulnerable Sector Screening.
