MOZAIK CABINET DESIGNER – KITCHEN & CUSTOM CABINETRY

BC New Style Kitchen Cabinets Inc. is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Mozaik Cabinet Designer to join our team in Surrey, BC.

Job Responsibilities:

- Create detailed 2D and 3D kitchen and cabinet layouts using Mozaik software.
- Prepare accurate cabinet drawings, elevations, floor plans, and shop drawings.
- Design kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, entertainment units, pantries, and other custom cabinetry.
- Prepare accurate cabinet dimensions, specifications, and cut lists for production.
- Review architectural drawings, measurements, and client requirements.
- Make design revisions based on client, contractor, and production requirements.
- Ensure designs are practical and suitable for manufacturing and installation.
- Coordinate with the production team to ensure drawings and specifications are clear and accurate.
- Meet with clients when required to discuss layouts, cabinet styles, finishes, and design options.
- Assist with material selection, hardware, door styles, and cabinet specifications.
- Check completed designs carefully for dimensions, appliance clearances, fillers, panels, and installation requirements.
- Maintain organized project files and ensure drawings are ready for production.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Strong experience with Mozaik Cabinet Software is required.
- Previous experience in kitchen cabinet design or custom cabinetry is preferred.




- Strong understanding of cabinet construction and manufacturing.
- Ability to read architectural drawings and floor plans.
- Excellent understanding of cabinet dimensions, fillers, panels, toe kicks, crown moulding, and appliance requirements.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of kitchen design and space planning.
- Ability to understand and work with measurements and fractions.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.

- Custom kitchen and residential cabinetry
- Cabinet manufacturing and production
- CNC / cut-list preparation
- Appliance specifications and installation requirements
- Client consultations and design presentations
- Cabinet hardware and accessories
- Construction and installation knowledge
