Cafe Plenty is an independently owned and operated business with 2 locations in the downtown core and in Toronto neighbourhoods. We pride ourselves on creating a sense of community across all our locations by brining really wonderful people together through great food and great service.

We are looking for a catering manager to support us in growing our existing catering business. $45,000 salary plus commission structure.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement catering sales strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Identify and target new market opportunities to expand the catering business
- Analyze market trends and customer preferences to optimize menu offerings and pricing
- Provide leadership and guidance to the catering team, ensuring high-quality service delivery
- Manage key accounts, building strong relationships with clients and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and appealing menu options
- Oversee the coordination of catering events, including logistics, and setup
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in catering and event management





Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development within the catering industry
- Strong negotiation and communication skills to effectively interact with clients and vendors
- Ability to analyze market data and make data-driven decisions for business growth
- Excellent leadership skills to motivate and inspire the catering team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple events simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in catering operations
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules
