Kinetic Solar is a leading Canadian manufacturer of solar racking.

We are looking for a recent engineering graduate to join our team as a Structural Product Specialist – Engineering & Technical Support

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product development, technical documentation, and customer support. You will be responsible for reviewing customer-submitted designs, assessing whether proposed applications align with our products' design intent and capabilities, interpreting applicable technical standards, compiling and maintaining technical literature, and providing clear technical guidance to installers and customers.

Responsibilities

- Perform preliminary design and evaluation of structural products and projects
- Prepare, write, and review technical literature, reports, and documentation
- Provide technical and product support to clients
- Validate prototypes
- Manage multiple ongoing projects while balancing day-to-day responsibilities
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint




- Robust verbal and written English communication skills
- Aptitude and intuition for structural design
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent client support skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Passion for renewable energy

Assets:

- Experience with AutoCAD, RISA 3D, SolidWorks, or other structural/design modelling software
- Machine shop or construction experience
- Experience with prototyping, fabrication, or product development

Compensation & Hours

Wages will be commensurate with experience.

Regular hours:

- Monday–Thursday: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
