We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Hockey Coach to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hockey, with the ability to educate and inspire players of all skill levels. This role involves not only coaching on the ice but also fostering a positive team environment and promoting sportsmanship among players. The Hockey Coach will be responsible for developing training programs, conducting practices, and leading the team during games.

Responsibilities

- Develop and implement effective training programs tailored to the skill levels of players.
- Conduct regular practices focusing on skill development, teamwork, and strategy.
- Educate players on the rules of hockey, techniques, and sportsmanship.
- Analyze player performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
- Create a positive and inclusive team culture that encourages participation and growth.
- Organize team meetings and communicate effectively with players and parents.




- Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games.
- Collaborate with other coaching staff to enhance overall team performance.

Requirements

- Proven experience playing or coaching hockey at a competitive level.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and educate players.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey strategies and feedback.
- Ability to swim is preferred for safety purposes during certain training activities.
- A commitment to fostering a positive environment that emphasizes teamwork and respect.
- Availability to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour
