Beyond the Court Inc. is looking for enthusiastic, creative, and motivated students and community-minded individuals to join the Beyond the Court family!
We are looking for someone who is excited about youth, community, sport, philanthropy, and making a difference—and who wants to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit fundraising, sponsorship, community partnerships, and communications.
This is an opportunity to do more than sit on the sidelines.

About Beyond the Court
Beyond the Court is a growing community-based not-for-profit organization that uses basketball, mentorship, recreation, leadership, life skills, employment readiness, and community programming to create opportunities for youth.
We work with youth and communities across the GTA, including young people who may face poverty, systemic barriers, social isolation, violence, and limited access to opportunity.
Our goal is simple:
Meet youth where they are. Help them discover where they can go.
As our programs continue to grow, so does the need for sustainable funding.

We are looking for Fundraising & Community Partnerships Assistants who can help us identify and connect with:
- Foundations
- Corporate sponsors
- Community donors
- Philanthropic organizations
- Businesses
- Community partners
- Government funding opportunities
- Individuals who want to invest in youth
You'll work alongside Beyond the Court leadership and help us discover new opportunities to keep our programs running, expand our reach, and create more opportunities for youth.
This is a great opportunity for students studying:
- Business

What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities may include:
Finding Funding Opportunities
- Research foundations and philanthropic organizations
- Search for corporate sponsorship opportunities
- Identify grants and funding programs that align with BTC's work
- Research businesses that may want to sponsor youth programming
- Build lists of potential donors and partners
- Monitor new funding opportunities and deadlines
Outreach & Relationship Building
- Help introduce Beyond the Court to potential sponsors and funders
- Draft outreach emails and partnership requests
- Help connect with businesses, foundations, and community organizations
- Follow up with potential partners
- Help build long-term relationships with supporters
Bring Your Creativity
We want people who aren't afraid to think outside the box!
Help us come up with creative ideas for:
- Corporate sponsorships
- Fundraising campaigns
- Community partnerships
- Donor engagement
- Youth-focused events
- Fundraising initiatives

Future Paid Opportunity
At this stage,
Beyond the Court is an emerging organization and does not currently have dedicated funding to provide compensation for these positions.
These positions are therefore initially offered as volunteer, student placement, or co-op opportunities.
However, our goal is to secure sustainable funding to continue expanding our programs and our team.
As funding becomes available, opportunities for paid employment may become available to individuals who demonstrate solid performance, commitment, initiative, and alignment with the organization's needs.
