Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in various heavy-duty vehicles and equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive repair, electrical systems, and the ability to operate heavy equipment safely. The mechanic will work in a quick-paced environment, ensuring that all vehicles are in optimal working condition.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in diesel engines and related systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty vehicles, including trucks and construction equipment.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively to assemble and disassemble components.
- Conduct electrical repairs and maintenance as needed.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment safely during repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Perform heavy lifting as required to move parts or equipment during service.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs, parts used, and services performed.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in diesel mechanics or a related field is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and practices.
- Familiarity with electrical systems in diesel engines is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely, including forklifts.
- Experience with power tools and hand tools necessary for mechanical repairs.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Additional certifications related to diesel mechanics are advantageous.
