We are seeking a Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, industrial & residential electrical work and a strong understanding of electrical systems. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Work is local to Red Deer area.
Duties
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout of electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
- Ensure all installations meet local codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential issues.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical systems and safety protocols.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively.
- Must be able to work independently or as a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Relevant certifications or licenses as required by local regulations.
