Halal Food Pass is looking for a creative Freelance Reels Content Creator & Video Editor to create engaging short-form videos featuring halal restaurants and food across Mississauga and surrounding areas.

This is a contract/freelance position — not a salaried job.

- No fixed salary or guaranteed hours
- Work is offered on a project/assignment basis
- Payment is agreed based on each assignment
- No need to come to an office
- Editing can be done remotely
- Must be based in Mississauga or Oakville, or very close by
- Must be able to travel independently to restaurant locations for shoots

What You’ll Do

- Visit participating restaurants for scheduled content shoots
- Film food, restaurant atmosphere, preparation and other engaging moments
- Create Instagram Reels, TikToks and other short-form videos
- Edit videos with strong hooks, captions, music, transitions and engaging pacing
- Turn restaurant visits into polished, ready-to-post content
- Highlight restaurant offers and Halal Food Pass deals
- Occasionally film restaurant owners, staff or short interviews
- Deliver completed content within agreed deadlines

What We’re Looking For

- Experience creating and editing Instagram Reels, TikToks or similar short-form content
- Strong video-editing skills
- A good eye for food and restaurant videography
- Understanding of social-media trends,



hooks and viewer retention
- Able to film using a positive smartphone or camera
- Reliable, independent and professional when dealing with restaurants

Being comfortable appearing on camera is an advantage but is not required.
