Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated Tandem Truck Driver to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will operate tandem trucks to transport materials efficiently and safely, ensuring timely deliveries and excellent customer service. Your mechanical knowledge and automotive repair skills will support vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting, keeping operations running smoothly. Responsibilities

- Safely operate tandem trucks for local or regional deliveries, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct routine inspections of the truck, including checking mechanical systems and ensuring proper maintenance is performed
- Assist with loading and unloading cargo using forklift equipment when necessary




- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries and pickups
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting to address minor mechanical issues on the road or at the shop
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, vehicle inspection records, and compliance documentation
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others

Experience

- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably with tandem or similar heavy-duty trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive repairs and diagnostics
- Familiarity with forklift operation is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism and clear communication
- Valid class 3 with air brake endorsement driver’s license with clean driving record
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to transportation and vehicle operation

Pay: $20.72-$36.77 per hour
