About Us: OSA Private School is an Ontario Ministry of Education-accredited institution dedicated to providing elite academics alongside comprehensive sports development programs. Serving grades 4-12, we specialize in on-ice and off-ice hockey training, on and off-the-field soccer, baseball, football, and figure skating development, elite dance instruction, and sports-specific strength and conditioning training.

Position Overview: We seek a passionate and dedicated Grade 4, 5 and 9 French Teacher to join our team. Successful candidates will have expertise in Junior and Intermediate grades, a strong understanding of the Ontario curriculum, and the ability to differentiate instruction and assessments to meet the needs of diverse learners. While a background in sports is not required, we seek individuals who are enthusiastic about integrating sports, health, and the arts into their teaching practice and who can inspire students to pursue their passions in these areas.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that align with the Ontario curriculum.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.
- Provide ongoing feedback and support to students to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
- Adhere to the principles of Growing Success and implement appropriate assessment and evaluation strategies.
Qualifications:
- Ontario College of Teachers certification (OCT) is required. We will consider applicants with equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.
- Strong knowledge of the Ontario curriculum and experience with curriculum differentiation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment.
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and equitable learning workplace.
