We are hiring, for a Part time Cook at our Cheese Shop in Point Edward. Tuesdays to Saturday from 11:00am - 2:00pm.

We are looking for a reliable staff to join our team. The Cheese Wedge team strives everyday to provide excellent customer service for every person that stops to visit.

Duties will include but not limited to, cook and organize small/large catering jobs, cook take out meals and make soups and grilled cheeses, make cheeseballs & dips and other party appetizers. Our new hire will also be able to cut, package and label cheese, have daily cleaning duties, assisting customer with products and making recommendations, and cashing customers out with our computerized POS system. Food Handling Certification is required.





We will train you in all the selections of cheese and gourmet products we carry. Knowledge of computerized POS is key. We’re looking for a self-starter who can manage their time effectively and efficiently.

The role requires drive and a sense of accountability. Applicant must be friendly and able to work alongside others and alone.

Job Types: Permanent, Part time

Pay: $17.60 per hour

Experience:

- cooking: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (required)
