Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Overtime: Possible evenings and weekends based on operational needs
Starting Wage: $23.00/hour

Position overview

We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Rebar Fabrication Machine Operator to join a busy steel fabrication facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Minimum qualifications

- Basic math skills with the ability to calculate bar measurements

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

- Reliable transportation to and from work

- Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends when required

Key responsibilities

- Operate rebar fabrication equipment, including:

- Bending machines to fabricate reinforcing steel to required dimensions

- Shearing machines to cut reinforcing steel bars to specified lengths

- Overhead cranes to move, assemble, and select materials for fabrication or shipping

- Unload trailers and organize materials into storage bins





- Assemble and load customer orders onto trailers for shipment

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

- Assist team members with fabrication, material handling, and shipping tasks

- Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures

Physical and work environment

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work

- Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty, hot, and cold workplace

- Work is performed in an outdoor enclosed shop exposed to varying weather conditions
