We are recruiting for a Plant Controller opportunity with a manufacturing organization located in Burlington, ON. This is a direct hire, full-time, in-office role for an experienced accounting and finance professional who enjoys leading plant-level financial operations, improving controls, supporting business decisions, and partnering closely with operational leadership.

The Plant Controller will oversee core accounting cycles, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, inventory controls, costing, audits, treasury activities, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities





- Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of financial statements in accordance with Canadian GAAP.
- Manage all major accounting cycles, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, costing, fixed assets, inventory, and general accounting.
- Lead budgeting, monthly forecasting, capital expenditure reporting, P&L; variance analysis, and operational KPI reporting.
- Manage treasury activities, including collections monitoring, payment scheduling, and cash flow projections.
- Coordinate external financial audits and maintain strong financial policies, internal controls, and asset protection practices.
- Supervise, coach, and develop accounting team members through regular feedback, performance management, and mentoring.
