The Kitchen Centre is hiring a fulltime Cabinet Designer/Sales Associate. We are a growing custom cabinetry shop that is looking for a focused and driven individual to join our team.
Job Title: Cabinet Designer & Sales Associate
Employment Type: Full Time
(Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm & occasional Saturdays, 10:00am-2:00pm)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented, motivated Cabinet Designer & Sales Specialist to join our team. In this dual role, you will guide clients from initial consultation through the final design and sale. You will combine your technical design expertise with solid consultative sales skills to create functional, beautiful spaces while meeting monthly sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation: Meet with homeowners, contractors, and interior designers in the showroom or in office to understand their project scope, budget, and design preferences.
- Space Planning & Design: Create accurate, detailed custom cabinetry layouts using industry CAD software (Cabnetware).
- Sales & Estimation:
Present design concepts and comprehensive price estimates to clients, overcome objections, and successfully close sales.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Must have valid driver’s license & vehicle
- Must have basic knowledge of CAD software
- Must possess ability to take in-field measurements and interpret architectural blueprints
- Must have excellent time management skills, with a keen understanding of the need to meet deadlines
- Must have excellent customer service skills & communication skills with a strong ability to present and pitch designs confidently
- A degree or certificate in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field is highly preferred
- Cabinet design experience and knowledge is also an asset
