RETAIL CUTTER / CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

Mook Fabrics Ltd is a large wholesale/retail fabric supplier servicing and distributing throughout Canada and the United States.

We are looking for a full-time individual to join our busy retail team in Medicine Hat.

Duties:

- Assisting and advising customers on fabric purchases
- Processing fabric orders
- Working with various fabrics, including measuring, cutting, folding, and packing orders
- Providing excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and via email
- Answering and directing incoming telephone calls
- Assisting with reception duties and providing coverage for the receptionist as required
- Greeting customers and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Maintaining organized filing systems and completing general administrative tasks
- Supporting the retail and office teams as needed

Requirements:

- Previous customer service experience is required
- Reception, administrative,



or telephone customer service experience is an asset
- Knowledge of fabric is an asset but not essential; we will train the right person
- Able to read and interpret orders and invoices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Computer literate and comfortable learning new systems
- Reliable, dependable, and able to follow direction
- Able to work in a fast-paced setting
- Position requires the individual to be on their feet for most of the day

Wage: Starting wage - $15 per hour.

Job Type: Full-time
