About the Opportunity

Our nationally recognized client located in central Ottawa is looking for a Finance Manager to join their team on a temporary, contract basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:
Prepare monthly journal entries, amortization schedules, and balance sheet reconciliations for unearned and deferred revenue accounts.
Financial reporting and production of financial statements- prepare monthly, quarterly and annual results including Income Statements, P&L;, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Management, ensure accuracy of preparation of Financials
Submission of tax remittances
Assisting in the coordination and preparation of budget and financial forecasts and analyze report variances; institute and maintain planning and control procedures
Preparing Month End closings
Assist in streamlining processes, automation, and creation of efficiencies
Ensuring compliance as well as implementation of policies and procedures, monitoring for accurate and successful execution
About You

The successful candidate will have the following:
Active CPA, or CFE Finalist




4+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance
Previous experience in the Not-for-Profit sector
Strong oral, written, and communication skills (English essential)
Strong problem-solving skills
Highly organized, strong attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal skills, self-starter, team-oriented
About the Job

The hourly wage for this role is $55.00 to $62.00 depending on relevant experience.
