Veterinary Receptionist – Join Our Friendly, Fast-Paced Team!

Position: Veterinary Receptionist
Location: Perth Veterinary Services, Stratford
Employment Type: Full-time permanent employment
Schedule: Availability required 8:00 AM until 6:00 PM on weekdays and rotating Saturdays

Responsibilities:

- Greet clients and patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage daily appointment flow
- Process payments and maintain accurate financial records
- Maintain and update patient medical records
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff
- Assist clients with prescription and food refill requests
- Handle client concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Support clinic operations by maintaining a clean and organized reception area
- Perform additional administrative duties as required

Qualifications:

- Previous reception experience preferred




- Veterinary clinic experience considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient with computers and scheduling software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable with a robust work ethic
- Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues and contribute to a collaborative workplace culture
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client care
- Ability to maintain professionalism and compassion when handling sensitive client situations
