The individual will assist in production programming and operating a Trumpf Co2 Laser Machine

Job Responsibilities

- Practical experience in operating CNC laser machines (knowledge of Trumpf laser machines an asset)
- Proper maintenance of machinery and all shop equipment
- Set up and operate machine to ensure orders are completed to meet deadlines
- Work with plant supervisor to ensure order are processed in accordance with daily production schedule and on time deliveries.
- Documenting and keeping accurate production and quality control Records of all finished Job Orders.
- Understand and follow verbal and written instructions of drawings, blueprints,



specifications and numerical dimensions and tolerances
- Knowledge in different types of materials, grades, gauges, dimensions.
- Driver's License and Forklift Licence an asset - training provided if needed
- Attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

- High School Diploma and/or Trade School
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, organize deadlines and priorities
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and time-management skills
- A team player and willing to work with others on projects
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
