Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Tech to join our dynamic team. It is a two weeks on, two weeks off rotational position. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing facilities, equipment, and infrastructure within a camp environment. Performing routine repairs on dormitories, kitchens, and recreational buildings, including painting, hanging doors, and mounting hardware. Plumbing and electrical may be required at times. Fixing clogged toilets, leaking taps, cleaning grease traps, fixing broken appliances changing light bulbs or ballast replacement. Your energetic approach will ensure that all camp operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills, while contributing to a safe and well-maintained environment for staff and guests alike.

Responsibilities

- Monitar, clean, and change filtres on HVAC units, generators, or basic water and sewage treatment systems.
- Conduct snow removal, clear pathways, handle daily waste disposal, and assist with heavy lifting (Groceries).
- Lead maintenance teams or contractors during repairs or upgrades, ensuring safety protocols are followed.




- Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance activities, safety checks, and equipment status reports.
- Support facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC systems, lighting, and structural repairs.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal team needs promptly and professionally.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations at all times.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in welding and equipment repair.
- Electrical experience including troubleshooting circuits, and wiring diagrams.
- Robust communication skills in English for clear reporting and team coordination.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repetitively, climb ladders, and work in all weather conditions
- Customer service orientation with a focus on responsiveness and professionalism.

Experience & Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of hands-on building maintenance, general carpentry, or multi-trade experience.
- Valid drivers license with clean drivers abstract.

Pay: $300.00-$350.00 per day
