Crown Food Service Equipment is a leading design and manufacturer of steam cooking equipment for the commercial foodservice industry.

Excellent opportunity! We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent TIG and Stick Welder (Welding carbon steel and stainless steel)

Welder - $30-33/Hr.

Mon – Fri 7:30 AM – 4 PM

40 hours per week

Benefits after 3 months probationary period

Main Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

§ Proven experience in GTAW (TIG) and SMAW welding, specifically with mild steel, stainless steel and mild steel to stainless steel.

§ Fit-up and weld stainless steel and mild steel components.

§ Capable of completing the entire assembly of products.

§ Capable of reading and implementing shop drawings and welding documents, including WPSs.

§ Capable of meeting welding ticket requirements in compliance with relevant codes and WPSs.

§ Capable of identifying and repairing different weld defects.

§ Capable of working under the regulations of ASME shops.

§ Ensure compliance with welding procedures, code requirements, company policy, safety standards & quality standards.

§ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:

§ High school diploma, vocational or technical training.

§ Minimum 6 years specialized experience in a custom fabrication environment.

§ GTAW experience of 5 years or more of mild and stainless steels required.

§ SMAW experience of 5 years or more of mild and stainless steels required.

§ Certificate on GTAW, and SMAW is an asset.





§ Read and interpret blueprints to understand product specifications and weld symbol interpretation required.

§ Ability to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods of time.

§ Ability to work with high efficiency and weld productivity.

§ Communication skill with shop supervisors.

§ Creativity in welding assembly of new products.

§ Applicants must have a positive attitude; possess good organization and communication skills.

§ Must have problem solving skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

§ Strong English language comprehension.

Physical Demands and Requirement

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
