Duties

- Maintain the overall appearance of the golf course by mowing, edging, trimming, and aerating turf areas using hand tools and power equipment
- Operate irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for healthy grass and plant growth
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, fertilizing, and weed control to enhance course aesthetics
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various maintenance activities including fencing repairs and bunker edging
- Conduct routine inspections of the course to identify areas needing attention or repair, ensuring safety standards are met
- Assist with the installation and upkeep of course features like greens, fairways, bunkers, and flower beds




- Support seasonal tasks such as aeration, overseeding, and pest management to keep the course in prime condition

Qualifications

- Experience with gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance preferred but not required; enthusiasm for outdoor work is essential
- Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes) and power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of irrigation systems and basic landscaping techniques is a plus
- Robust attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining course quality
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaborative efforts in maintaining the golf course environment
