What You'll Be Doing

As a Recruiting Specialist, you will play an important role in connecting job seekers with employment opportunities and ensuring our clients receive qualified candidates.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Recruiting and sourcing candidates for a variety of positions.
- Reviewing applications and conducting candidate interviews.
- Matching candidates to available job opportunities.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with candidates and associates.
- Recruiting both active and passive candidates through a variety of channels.
- Posting job opportunities on job boards and social media.
- Conducting follow-up calls and maintaining regular communication with candidates.
- Coordinating interviews, placements, and onboarding activities.
- Maintaining a strong and diverse candidate pool to respond quickly to client staffing needs.




- Networking within the local community to build and strengthen the candidate pipeline.
- Providing exceptional customer service to candidates and associates.
- Working closely with the branch team to meet recruiting and placement objectives.
- Maintaining accurate candidate and employee records and completing related administrative tasks.

Skilled Trades Experience – An Asset

Experience recruiting within the Skilled Trades sector would be a strong asset.

Candidates with exposure to Skilled Trades recruitment or an understanding of the trades environment will have an advantage. Familiarity with trades such as welders, machinists, millwrights, electricians, maintenance technicians, industrial mechanics, CNC operators, and other skilled technical roles is valuable.

Because skilled trades talent can be highly competitive, the ability to identify, attract, engage, and maintain relationships with skilled candidates is important. We are looking for someone who understands that successful recruiting requires persistence, creativity, strong follow-up, and the ability to build a reliable network of qualified candidates.

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in recruiting, staffing, customer service, or another people-focused role is an asset.
- Skilled Trades recruitment experience or industry exposure is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking with candidates and associates by phone throughout the day.
- Confident, outgoing, and professional personality.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Comfortable using computers, social media, job boards, and online recruiting platforms.




- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Most importantly, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and genuine interest in helping people.
