We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Lawyer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex legal matters and collaborate with industry experts in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal counsel to clients on insurance-related matters, including claims, policy disputes, regulatory compliance, and coverage issues.
- Draft, review, and negotiate insurance contracts, policies, and other legal documents.
- Represent clients in litigation, arbitration, and mediation proceedings involving insurance disputes.
- Advise clients on risk management and compliance with local and national insurance laws and regulations.
- Analyze legal and regulatory trends in the insurance industry and provide recommendations for proactive legal strategies.
- Collaborate with insurance companies, claims adjusters, brokers, and other stakeholders to resolve complex insurance-related issues.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving case law, statutory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Provide legal support in the event of claims, disputes, and investigations related to insurance fraud and bad faith claims.

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.




- Active and valid license to practice law in Ontario.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing law with a focus on insurance law, claims handling, policy drafting, and litigation.
- Strong understanding of insurance regulations, industry standards, and emerging trends.
- Proven track record of handling complex insurance disputes and litigation.
- Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience working with insurance companies, brokers, and regulatory bodies is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically.
