Summary

The Quality Assurance Line Auditor performs regular audits of production lines, including finished products and production components. This is a rotational position. When not working in the QA Line Auditor role, the employee will be assigned to work in Contract Packaging (Copack) as a Line Operator.

Responsibilities:

- Perform QA Audit checks of finished products and production components on a prescribed basis
- Ensure that proper quality-related tracking is completed, electronically and manually, to verify conformance with quality and GMP standards
- Perform measurements of production components and input measurements electronically
- Complete start-up, shut-down sheets, and first-off QA approvals as prescribed
- Recommend improvements to operations, and actively participate in team meetings and/or other committees as available
- Develop and encourage a mindset of continual improvement, in accordance with the quality requirements.
- Other duties as assigned

Risk Management





- Follow provincial and company health and safety regulations & Plant Safe Practices
- Perform work in a safe manner at all times; identify safety issues to Quality Assurance Manager

Quality Management

- Complete all tasks in a quality manner as outlined in the company’s mission statement.
- Adhere to GMPs
- Report all quality issues to Operations and Quality management
- Inspect product and production components according to prescribed methods
- Provide input to resolve quality issues

Qualifications (Required education/experience/skills/abilities)

- High school diploma and/or leadership experience
- Effective communication, mathematical and reading comprehension skills are required
- Basic computer knowledge (PC, iPad, Excel) to complete audits and data entry
- Verify, organize and manage electronic records
