Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated, hardworking Skilled Carpenter Labourer to support our lead carpenters on high-end job sites. This role requires a professional who has a solid foundation in residential construction and can handle both heavy labour and skilled carpentry tasks with precision.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Support: Assist lead carpenters with framing, flooring installation, trim work, and cabinetry adjustments.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and safely transport construction materials and equipment.
- Tool Operation: Proficiently and safely operate a variety of hand and power tools (drills, saws, levels, etc.).
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site by removing debris and managing salvaged materials.
- Layout & Measurement: Assist in measuring and cutting materials according to blueprints and specifications.
- Collaboration:



Work closely with the site foreman to ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in residential construction or renovations (Required).
- Skills: Solid understanding of construction principles, framing, and finishing.
- Physical Ability: Must be able to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation to commute to various sites in Ottawa (Required).
- Professionalism: Punctual, detail-oriented, and able to communicate professionally with clients and team members.

Pay: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
