Retail Store Supervisor / Cashier

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and customer-focused Retail Store Supervisor / Cashier to join our team at Circle K.

This position combines regular cashier and customer-service responsibilities with shift supervision. The ideal candidate is someone who can work independently, keep the store organized, support other team members, and make sure daily store duties are completed properly.

Responsibilities:

- Provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Operate the POS system and process cash, debit, credit, lottery, and other transactions accurately.
- Handle cash responsibly and complete shift-related cash procedures.
- Stock shelves, coolers, beverages, snacks, and other merchandise.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Monitor inventory and report shortages or discrepancies.
- Check product expiry dates and rotate stock using proper procedures.
- Maintain store cleanliness, including counters, floors, coolers, washrooms, and customer areas.
- Ensure assigned shift tasks and cleaning duties are completed.
- Assist with training and supporting other employees.
- Supervise store operations when the manager/operator is not present.
- Follow company policies regarding tobacco, lottery, age-restricted products, food safety, and loss prevention.
- Identify and report theft, suspicious activity, equipment problems,



or other store issues
- Help maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
- Complete other reasonable duties required for day-to-day store operations.

- Strong customer-service and communication skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility for a shift
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable handling cash and operating a POS system
- Able to perform stocking, cleaning, and other physical store duties
- Previous retail, convenience-store, cashier, or supervisory experience is an asset
- Supervisory experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Availability:

Applicants should have flexible availability. Evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday availability may be required depending on store needs.
