Job Overview

We are seeking a strong, experienced dental receptionist to join our amazing dental team.

The right individual to join our family dental clinic.

Duties , but not limited to

- Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth, creating a positive first impression.
- Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently, scheduling appointments and answering patient inquiries promptly.
- Verify patient insurance information and process billing using dental practice management software such as Dentrix or Epic.
- Maintain accurate records by updating electronic medical records and ensuring confidentiality at all times.
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely patient flow and smooth office operations.
- Handle administrative tasks including filing, data entry, and correspondence related to patient care.
- Assist with appointment reminders, follow-up calls, and rescheduling as needed to optimize practice efficiency.
- Ensure the front desk area remains organized, clean, and welcoming for patients and staff.

Requirements





- 3+ years experience as a dental receptionist
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Abeldent
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care is required.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems and office equipment including multi-line phone systems
- Knowledge of insurance verification processes and billing procedures is desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of the CDCP program
