Position Summary

The Deli Team Member will assist with a variety of tasks within our Deli Department. This position plays an important role in providing our customers with friendly, welcoming service while helping ensure our deli is clean, well-stocked, and ready to serve our community.

Responsibilities will include preparing and packaging food, serving customers, maintaining a clean and organized department, and assisting with other general deli duties. At times, this role will also include serving as a cashier.

This is a part-time position ranging from 8–32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

- Provide warm, friendly, and helpful service to our customers
- Prepare, package, and label deli foods and products
- Slice and package deli meats and cheeses according to customer requests
- Prepare sandwiches, salads, and other deli items
- Serve customers at the deli counter
- Stock and rotate deli products
- Maintain attractive and well-stocked displays
- Follow proper food safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep counters, equipment, floors, and work areas clean and organized
- Monitor product freshness and quality
- Assist with receiving and putting away deliveries
- Operate deli equipment safely and properly
- Answer customer questions and assist with product selections
- Operate the cash register when needed
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Assist other departments and team members as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Schedule & Availability

This is a part-time position ranging from 16–32 hours per week.

Applicants must be available to work Monday through Saturday, with availability for shifts ranging from morning through evening.

Specific hours will vary based on availability and the needs of the Deli Department.
