Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Lumper to join our dynamic warehouse team. As a Lumper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of freight, supporting warehouse distribution operations, and maintaining smooth flow of goods. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with heavy equipment operation will be essential in handling various tasks safely and effectively. Responsibilities

- Load and unload trucks efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts, clamp trucks, cranes, or other heavy machinery
- Assist with order picking, packing, and staging shipments for delivery or storage
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movement and update records accurately
- Ensure proper handling of goods during shipping & receiving processes, adhering to safety protocols
- Support heavy lifting tasks and construction-related activities as needed to facilitate warehouse operations
- Collaborate with team members to load & unload materials safely while maintaining productivity standards
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment like forklifts and cranes to ensure safe operation and report any issues

Requirements

- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, shipping & receiving, or related roles




- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and other warehouse machinery
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
- Prior experience with order picker machines or similar equipment is preferred
- Construction or heavy equipment operation experience is a plus
- Excellent teamwork skills with a focus on safety and accuracy in fast-paced environments
- Valid certifications for forklift operation or crane use are highly desirable

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Fish Product Lumpers to assist with container unloading operations in a warehouse environment. This role is physical in nature and ideal for dependable individuals who are comfortable working in cool, wet conditions.

Shift Details

- Start Time: 7:00 AM or 10:00AM
- End Time: 3 Hours

Compensation

- $140 per container, worked by two employees
- $70 per employee per container

Estimated Work Time

- Approximately 3 hours per container

Qualifications & Requirements

- Must not be allergic to fish
- Comfortable working in wet and cold environments
- Steel-toe boots required
- Must dress appropriately for cold and warehouse conditions
- Physically capable of demanding work
- Reliable and punctual

Pay: From $70.00 per day
