About the Position

FastSigns South is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and safety-minded Sign Installer Labourer to join our installation team.

This is a hands-on position where you’ll work alongside experienced installers to install, remove, and service a wide variety of interior and exterior signage and graphics. Our projects take us to commercial buildings, retail locations, construction sites, vehicles, and other customer locations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist experienced installers with the installation and removal of interior and exterior signs and graphics.
- Load, unload, transport, and safely handle signs, equipment, tools, and materials.
- Assist with preparing job sites and ensuring work areas are clean and organized.
- Use basic hand tools and power tools.
- Assist with ladders, lifts, and other installation equipment.
- Work safely at heights and follow all required safety procedures.
- Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
- Maintain a professional appearance and represent FastSigns South positively at customer locations.
- Work efficiently as part of an installation crew to complete projects on time and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

- Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Comfortable performing physical labour, including lifting and carrying materials.
- Comfortable working at heights and using ladders or lifts.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Positive attention to detail and pride in workmanship.




- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- A valid Class 5 driver's licence and clean driving record is an asset.
- Previous construction, trades, sign installation, or similar experience is an asset, but not required.
- Must be safety-conscious and willing to follow workplace and job-site safety requirements.

Physical Requirements

This is an active, physically demanding position. The successful candidate should be able to:

- Lift and carry signs, tools, and installation materials.
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work for extended periods.
- Work from ladders and elevated platforms where required.
- Work in outdoor conditions throughout the year.
- Safely handle tools and equipment.
