A community pharmacy about an hour's drive from Penticton, British Columbia, is seeking a Relief Pharmacist for an 8-week assignment. This contract offers excellent compensation, a Monday-to-Friday schedule, and a well-staffed pharmacy environment.

Position Overview
Role: Relief Pharmacist
Location: South Okanagan Region, BC (approx. 1 hour from Penticton)
Contract Period: August 20 – October 16
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Weekly Hours: 40
Pharmacy System: Kroll
Compensation: Up to $100/hr

Pharmacy Setting

- Handles 100–150 prescriptions daily
- Pharmacist overlap coverage
- Full support from pharmacy assistants
- Well-established community pharmacy
- Workflow built on Kroll

Key Responsibilities

- Accurately verify and dispense prescriptions
- Provide patient counselling and clinical care
- Work alongside pharmacists and support staff to maintain smooth operations




- Follow professional standards and provincial regulations
- Ensure excellent patient care and customer service

Qualifications

- Licensed pharmacist eligible to practise in British Columbia
- Knowledge of Kroll preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Capable of working independently and collaborating with a team
- Prior community pharmacy experience is an advantage
