Job Title: Accountant

We are looking for an experienced, reliable Accountant to manage our company’s accounting and financial administration.

Responsibilities

- Manage daily bookkeeping, including invoices, customer payments, vendor payments, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
- Set up, maintain, and improve our accounting system in QuickBooks Online
- Prepare accurate and qualified monthly financial reports, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports
- Handle GST/PST filings, payroll records, and support year-end corporate tax filing
- Work with our internal bookkeeper and provide all required financial documents
- Prepare financial information and documents for business loan applications and banking requirements
- Assist with company administration, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee record management
- Maintain organized financial records and ensure information is accurate and up to date





Requirements

- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Advanced, hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Online is required
- Able to independently prepare professional financial statements and management reports
- Strong knowledge of Canadian bookkeeping, GST/PST, payroll, and corporate tax requirements
- Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese, written and spoken
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently
- Experience with construction, building materials, wholesale, retail, or inventory-based businesses is an asset
- Accounting diploma, degree, CPA designation, or relevant certification is preferred

Position: Full-time
Location: Richmond, BC

Pay: $38,000.00 per year
