In this energetic role, you will be responsible for daily animal care, maintaining clean and safe facilities, and supporting the overall operation of our pig farming enterprise. Duties

- Provide daily care for swine, including feeding, watering, and monitoring health status
- Vaccinating pigs, shipping, receiving, pressure washing and disinfecting.
- Assist with routine herd health checks and report any signs of illness or distress promptly
- Perform heavy lifting tasks involved in moving feed bags, supplies, or equipment around the farm
- Maintain cleanliness of animal housing, pens, and surrounding areas to promote a healthy environment




- Conduct regular inspections of farm infrastructure and mechanical systems to ensure proper operation and safety

Skills

- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and perform basic repairs on farm machinery and equipment
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and consistently throughout the workday
- Experience or familiarity with farm machinery operation is highly desirable
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail in animal husbandry practices
- Good physical stamina to handle the demands of outdoor work in varying weather conditions
- Transparent communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting observations accurately
