Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Real Estate Law Clerk to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in residential real estate law and be comfortable handling real estate transactions from initial client intake through closing and final reporting.

Responsibilities

- Manage residential purchase, sale, mortgage, and refinance transactions
- Complete client intake and open new files
- Prepare and review closing and transaction documents
- Review Agreements of Purchase and Sale and mortgage instructions
- Communicate with clients, lenders, realtors, brokers, and opposing counsel
- Coordinate closing funds, document execution, and closing requirements
- Manage significant dates, deadlines, and outstanding items
- Complete post-closing matters and final reporting to clients and lenders
- Maintain organized and accurate client files

Qualifications





- Minimum 2 years of real estate law clerk experience
- Strong understanding of Ontario residential real estate transactions
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple files and deadlines independently
- Professional, reliable, and client-focused
- Strong problem-solving and time-management skills
- Experience with real estate legal software is an asset
