COOK/CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Based at Fort McMurray 468 First Nation, we are a high-traffic, fast food restaurant providing services to our customers. Reporting to the Manager, our Cook/Customer Service Representative is responsible for providing customers with professional, efficient and friendly service. The individual in this position must be able to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
- Follow recipes and presentation specifications
- Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
- Maintain inventory and record of food, supplies and equipment
- Keeping the food prep area clean and safe for food
- Work with the fryer and grill to prepare food items
- Preparing produce
- Cleaning and maintaining kitchen area
- Provide fast accurate orders using POS ordering software
- Cleaning and maintaining front counter and dining areas
- Maintain a clean,



safe, and well stocked environment
- Assemble food items for packaging or serving.

Requirements:

- Safe food handling certification is an asset
- Class 5 Alberta driver’s license is an asset
- Have strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a quick-paced environment
- Have strong customer service skills, attentiveness, and patience for customers
- Have a willingness to learn and try new things
- Are responsible, trustworthy, and punctual
- Willing to work all required shifts (morning, evenings and weekends)
- Multi-task efficiently in a Fast-paced environment
- Must have basic math & English communication skills
- Able to lift heavy items, and able to work on your feet for most of your shift
- Enjoy working in a team environment
