At Jim Pattison Lexus Northshore, our Parts Team plays an key role in making sure our customers receive the service they expect and our technicians have what they need to get the job done right.
We’re looking for a Parts Specialist who is organized, dependable, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. If you have dealership or automotive parts experience, that’s a great asset. If you’re newer to the industry but have the right attitude and are eager to learn, we’re happy to help you develop your skills.

What Your Day Will Look Like

- Helping customers with their automotive parts needs and answering questions in person, over the phone, and by email
- Working with technicians and Service Advisors to identify and source the right parts
- Using dealership systems and manufacturer catalogues to research part numbers and availability
- Preparing estimates and providing customers with pricing and expected delivery dates
- Ordering parts and following up on outstanding orders and special requests
- Processing invoices, returns, credits, and special orders
- Receiving deliveries and making sure incoming parts are checked, labelled, and put away correctly
- Pulling and organizing parts for upcoming service and repair work
- Keeping inventory information up to date and helping identify missing or incorrect inventory
- Communicating with suppliers when parts need to be sourced or orders require follow-up
- Keeping the parts counter, storage areas, and department organized and presentable
- Supporting the Service Department by helping keep repairs moving efficiently




- Protecting customer and dealership information and maintaining a professional level of confidentiality
- Taking on additional responsibilities as needed to support the department

What We Are Looking For
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of getting the details right.

- Automotive parts experience is an asset, particularly within a dealership environment
- Familiarity with vehicle parts and basic automotive systems
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to stay organized while handling multiple requests
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn dealership and parts-management systems
- Clear and professional communication skills
- The ability to work well with Technicians, Service Advisors, customers, and suppliers
- A dependable and positive approach to work
- A willingness to learn and contribute to a team environment

This position includes both desk-based and hands-on responsibilities. You should be comfortable with:

- Standing and walking regularly throughout the dealership
- Lifting and moving automotive parts and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs
- Bending, reaching,



and placing inventory on shelves
- Working at a computer and parts counter for extended periods
- Moving parts using carts or pallet jacks when required
- Working around an active service and warehouse environment
