The Dilawri family is in the process of establishing a dedicated family office to manage finance, personal affairs, and administrative operations. We are seeking a highly organized, discreet, and proactive Family Office Director to take a foundational leadership role in building and shaping the office.

Position Overview

The Family Office Director is a unique role and a high-impact opportunity to design processes and establish best practices from the ground up. You will oversee both financial administration and lifestyle support and will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the family’s personal and financial affairs. As an integral member of a small, dynamic team, you will help define the structure and operations of the family office, making this role both strategic and hands-on.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Financing Reporting & Controls

- Consolidated net worth statements
- Cash flow tracking across entities and accounts
- Budgeting for family and lifestyle expenses
- Bill pay and expense management
- Internal controls, approvals, and audit readiness

Governance & Family Dynamics

- Establishing family governance structures
- Drafting family constitutions or charters
- Facilitating family meetings
- Managing generational transitions
- Education for next‑gen family members

Risk Management & Asset Protection

- Insurance review (property, liability, D&O;, umbrella)
- Legal risk oversight
- Cybersecurity and data privacy coordination
- Fraud prevention and controls
- Business continuity and disaster planning

Real Estate & Lifestyle Asset Management

- Oversight of residential and commercial real estate
- Property management coordination
- Aircraft, yachts, vehicles
- Art, collectibles, wine, and other passion assets
- Staff oversight (household employees, security)

Philanthropy & Impact

- Developing a philanthropy strategy aligned with family values
- Managing foundations or charitable entities
- Grant evaluation and impact measurement
- Coordinating tax‑efficient giving
- Next‑gen involvement in philanthropy





Administrative & Personal Concierge Services

- Travel coordination
- Lifestyle management
- Vendor negotiation
- Personal projects (books, legacy planning, archives)
- Coordination during major life events

Advisor Coordination

- Managing external advisors:
- Ensuring advisors work together rather than in silos
- Avoiding duplication, conflicts, and missed issues

Qualifications Required

Education

5+ years bookkeeping/accounting (CPA designation preferred)

Experience

5+ years of experience in family office operations, private client services, executive support,
Experience establishing or scaling processes in a new office environment is highly desirable.
Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
High degree of discretion, professionalism, and trustworthiness.
Experience in luxury lifestyle management, concierge services, or hospitality strongly preferred
Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution.
Anticipates needs and acts proactively.
Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic, evolving workplace.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
